We had a fantastic stay in this lovely hotel nestled in the beautiful mountains of Picos de Europa. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was simply stunning, right in the heart of the national park, surrounded by breathtaking natural surroundings. This made it the perfect base for exploring the picturesque hiking trails in the area. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing hand-drawn sketch maps of the paths and points of interest in the mountains.
Nothing to dislike.

Wow, this place is bursting with color! The double or twin room I stayed in was so cheerful with its vibrant hues. The private bathroom with a bathtub was a treat after a long day of exploring. As a budget traveler, this room was perfect for me because it had everything I needed in a cozy and lively atmosphere.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the shared bathroom in some of the other rooms. But hey, I understand that some people might not mind that at all.

The room we stayed in at Hostal Pena Santa in Soto was absolutely amazing! The colorful decor made it feel so lively and cheerful. We loved the lovely views from the room, it felt like we were surrounded by nature. The private bathroom with a bathtub was an added bonus, making our stay even more comfortable. As a young family, we felt right at home in this cozy room.
The only thing we didn't particularly like was the shared bathroom. It's just our personal preference, but others might still find enjoyment in it.

The village was a perfect location for a peaceful Christmas getaway, surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. There were fantastic hiking trails right outside the door, offering a chance to explore the beautiful countryside. The locals were friendly and hospitable, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced.
The drive up the mountain was a bit nerve-wracking, especially the last few miles on a narrow one-way road with a cliff on one side. The rooms were basic and the Wi-Fi was spotty, but that's to be expected in a remote mountain area.

The location is perfect for outdoor activities. I mean, who doesn't love hiking or cycling in the heart of a national park while surrounded by beautiful scenery? It's a dream come true!
Well, it's just fabulous that there's a bus stop next to the property. Who wouldn't want to go on a bumpy, cramped ride to explore the area?

Spotty wifi and slow internet.
